The aim of this project was to enhance typical architectural communication through the use of an arduino board and sensors. The pursued concept was that of a room which would react accordingly to ones mood. A pillow into which an accelerometer and a pressure sensor were installed was chosen as the interaction device which would trigger an LED lighting system in the room whether it was hugged, hit or shaken. The different lighting scenarios could then have the effect of calming or cheering up the user following colour therapy theory.
