MUM SAID “DON’T TALK TO STRANGERS”

Every time you recall a memory, it moves further away from the truth: mistrust and self-doubt distort the traces left by each past encounter and shape the way we deal with each new person we meet. How much are we willing to give to or to take from the people we meet? How do we perceive each other, and how do these perceptions evolve?

These questions lead to a site-specific performance based on movements and actions related to encounters. This is complemented by an installation, reacting to and expanding with each new performance, of surveillance footage and machine drawings dealing with the aftermath of past encounters.
